TEAM
Aaron Usmani - Managing Director
Aaron gained a BSc in Construction Management & Surveying from Reading, before joining Laing O’Rourke on a graduate scheme, and then the Henley Homes group. He has nearly two decades of experience in the construction industry, delivering large projects as both Construction Director and Managing Director. Aaron is organised and works quickly and accurately with attention to detail. He is a talented leader, who is committed to delivering great buildings.
Salman Tahir - Finance Director
Salman Tahir FCMA MA B.COM oversees the finance functions for the company. He is responsible for monitoring business performance, and develops short and long term finance strategies for future planning. He has a deep understanding of the company and the construction industry. He has over 20 years’ experience in finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a Masters in Economics.
Jonathan McElhinney - Head of Commercial
Jonathan is an experienced commercial manager with extensive experience in successfully delivering residential and commercial projects throughout the UK. Over 15 years of cost data analysis and project management within multiple construction sectors working for various large developers, main contractors and subcontractors. He joined Reach CM when it was founded, but had worked with Aaron for nearly 4 years prior to that.
Sandra Barrow - Executive Assistant
Sandra has been working with Aaron for over 10 years, and became his Executive Assistant in 2017. She joined Aaron when he set up Reach CM, and she now provides lynch-pin administrative support to the business. Sandra is a skilled and diligent administrator, with particular ability in documenting and maintaining internal systems.
Nadia Benea - Health & Safety Consultant
Nadia is a highly skilled and detail-oriented Health and Safety Consultant with expertise in risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety management. She has a proven ability to develop and implement effective health and safety policies, conduct audits, and provide training to ensure a safe working environment. She’s adept at identifying hazards, reducing risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
Abu Bah - Quality Consultant
Abu is a chartered construction management professional with over 40 years’ experience in delivering building and infrastructure projects in Sierra Leone and the United Kingdom. He has worked with Aaron since 2021, and currently acts as a consultant to Reach CM Ltd in quality management and compliance to ISO standards in quality, environment and operational health & safety. He has a BEng (Hons) from the University of Sierra Leone and MSc from Loughborough University. Abu is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers, and the Chartered Quality Institute. He is also an IRCA Lead Auditor in quality management systems.
Accreditations
All our sites are registered under the Considerate Contractor Scheme. We carry out a thorough review of site logistics and methodology to fully understand and reduce disruption to our neighbours during works. We engage with local communities and buy local where possible to help support the immediate community.
We are ISO9001 accredited, which recognises the effectiveness of our quality management, and will shortly be ISO45001 accredited regarding the quality of our occupational health & safety management
